Nor-Fishing 2020 – status in light of the corona virus pandemic
Information regarding the upcoming exhibition in light of the current situation in Norway
(Last updated 18.03.2020)
The Covid-19 virus gets a lot of attention and creates a lot of uncertainty these days. We therefore want to inform you about the plans we have as of today for the implementation of the fair and to help reduce uncertainty.
We are working towards holding Nor-Fishing 2020 as planned.
The authorities have taken great measures to prevent the spread of covid-19, and the situation changes rapidly. Major events are currently prohibited. The fair’s status is determined by how the situation develops over the next period of time. Our exhibitor’s and visitor’s health are our top priority, and we are following the situation closely.
Yet, we dare to be optimistic as the Nor-Fishing exhibition is scheduled in August, hence we are working towards the fair being held as planned. We will keep you updated on the situation as any changes occur.
For exhibitors – delayed deadlines:
We have decided to delay all deadlines before the summer by 1 month. This means that billing for stand rental, sending usernames and passwords to the online store etc. will be postponed until after Easter. Then we will also provide updated information on the prospects for implementing Nor-Fishing 2020.
The Nor-Fishing Foundation is in continuous dialogue with the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, and we stay up to date on the updates and recommendations given on the Covid-19 (Corona) virus.
