Food services at Nor-Fishing 2018

This year’s food offerings will be more varied than ever before. You’ll find everything your hunger desires, from tasteful hamburgers, pizzas and fresh veggie dishes, to bacalao, whale wok and a broad range of fish dishes. New this year are several food trucks and more outdoor seating.

Here is a quick overview of what will be available:

Lille Skansen
The little restaurant right by the boat marina at Skansen has long been a popular stopover for hungry and thirsty fair participants. Lille Skansen continues its usual operation this year – and now they also set up a large tent with space for 450 people outside the area.

«We want to create a social gathering point for everyone in the field – with opportunities for good dining experiences and a respite during busy trade days», says Daniel Johansson, CEO of Lille Skansen.

 

The outdoor restaurant – Havfruen Restaurant 
The seafood restaurant Havfruen will offer top quality wok seafood this year. Havfruen’s menu includes whale stew, aioli crab, sushi as well as fresh prawns and much more. The seafood enthusiasts at Havfruen Restaurant are looking forward to present Norwegian seafood prepared on the grill or by wok.

The food tent and food trucks
Chefs from Kristiansund-based restaurant Smia, will be present at the exhibition to serve re-discovered traditional dishes, in a separate tent at A2 in the outdoor area. The menu includes “fish & chips a la Kristiansund”, bacalao and other home-made dishes. This year the offer will be expanded to include food trucks from the restaurants: Kompis, Una Autopizzeria and The Falafel Company, which will stand together with Smia at halls T1 and T2.

 

Catering
Trondheim Catering, which is Nor-Fishing’s usual caterer, can deliver food to your stands. Because of high demand, Trondheim Catering would like to receive all orders before August. Please contact Palle Jørgensen at: palle@trondheimcatering.no .

The cafeteria
The large cafeteria on the ground floor in Hall E has a menu that includes four different hot dishes each day of the exhibition, plus sandwiches and cookies.

Kiosk
In the main entrance hall there will be a kiosk that sells simple fastfood like hot dogs, hamburgers, toast, wraps and cheese sandwiches. A quick bite to eat for those who are too busy to sit down.

Food carts
Two food carts with baguettes, wraps, salads, muffins and coffee will be circulating in the exhibition halls for sale to those who cannot leave their stand.

Gourmet experiences outside the exhibition
Havfruen Seafood Restaurant will also be open at their restaurant in Kjøpmannsgata 7 (by the river). In addition, Trondheim has a large assortment of restaurants as well as many opportunities for shopping, cultural events or just relaxation.
