Super cooling could be preferred method of preservation for fresh fish in the future. During the Nor-Fishing 2010 exhibition in Trondheim, Norway, The Fishery and Aquaculture Industry Research Fund (FHF) and the Research Council of Norway (RNC) will organise a mini-seminar on this technology on the 18th of August.

H.M. King Harald will officially open Nor-Fishing 2010 in Trondheim, Norway on the 17th of August. The Minister of Fisheries and Coastal Affairs, Mrs. Lisbeth Berg-Hansen, will also attend together with prominent guests from the fisheries authorities of several countries.

Four months ahead of Nor-Fishing 2010, which will take place in Trondheim, Norway from the 17th till the 20th of August, Project Manager Kari Steinsbø reports very good interest both among Norwegian and foreign exhibitors and from representatives of the fisheries industry who will visit the exhibition. "Every day we receive requests for information from new exhibitors," she says.

In August this year Nor-Fishing will celebrate its 50th anniversary. No other technology focused fisheries exhibition has been operated for this long. Managing Director Odd Berg and Project Manager Kari Steinsbø in the Nor-Fishing Foundation report a very good interest and booking from exhibitors and say that several interesting jubilee projects are under preparation.
